HOW TO MAKE A PARQUETRY SHELF
Having or owning your own home is quite a rewarding feeling. But starting with an empty canvas and adjusting to paying the hefty mortgage fees makes it difficult to spend any money on nice furniture pieces or other decorative ornaments that would add character to a home.
Adding warmth and texture to a home can be much easier and less expensive than you think. I love Kmart and I bought a lot of products from my local store when I first started furnishing my place, because they were on trend and they were incredibly affordable.
And now that I'm looking to add a new thing or two, I remind myself that there's plenty of awesome products in the house already that I can re-purpose.
This is an interesting project - might take you a whole weekend but the reward at the end is worth it. And it is not that expensive!
